State Department, Need to Reassess U.S. Participation in the IJC
Report by the U.S. General Accounting Office noting that that U.S. Government has not implemented many of the recommendations of the IJC. It recommends not only that the government work to implement these recommendats but that it also reevaluate the role of the U.S. in the IJC, including requirements that U.S. IJC commissioners have technical expertise, improving data collection methods, and chaning the role of public involvement.
