This medallion presented by Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge in 1971 honors the City of Indianapolis for achievements in "Governmental Unit Activities." The obverse bears an image of George Washington. The reverse bears a quote from Washington and the words "For oustanding achievement in bringing about a better understanding of the American way of life."
