"The Ruins", Holliday Park, Circa 1995, Img. 2
This sculpture at Holliday Park in Indianapolis was originally part of the edifice of the St. Paul Building in Manhattan, demolished in the 1950s to make way for a skyscraper. Designed by sculptor Karl Bitter from Indiana limestone in 1898, the "ruins" were returned to Indiana and dedicated at Holliday Park in October 1973.
