Bulen writes to assure Evritt that, contrary to the impression given by a newspapr column Evritt had read, Lugar strongly opposed busing while the Democratic nominee, incumbent Senator Bayh, endorsed busing policies. Bulen argues that this will be a significant issue in the 1974 election.
