Letter from Mayor Lugar to Mrs. G.E. Kasting thanking her for sending her letter of congratulation on the success of President Nixon's visit, forwarding a clipping on the event from the "Bedford Daily Times-Mail," and suggesting that he run for U.S. Senate in 1970. Though flattered, Lugar notes that he has too much that he still wants to do in Indianapolis.
