Durnil writes to the Hammon Times, asking them contact him directly regarding any possible debate between Bayh and Lugar in Lake County. The Hammon Times apparently suggested that Lugar was avoiding a debate, as Durnil argues that in fact, it was Bayh who failed to respnod to any of the Lugar campaign's requests for debate.
