Statement by the AFL-CIO Executive Council on Revenue Sharing, February 15, 1971

The AFL-CIO makes a statement in opposition to Nixon's proposed reforms involving federal revenue sharing. The National League of Cities and U.S. Conference of Mayors were concerned about the effect cutbacks would have on existing programs combating the ongoing urban crisis.
