Mayor Hudnut to John M. Mutz, November 1986

Mayor Hudnut seeks to confirm with Lieutenant Governor Mutz that Indianapolis would be able to offer state-supported enhancements as part of their campaign to attract a major league baseball franchise to the city. Mayor Hudnut notes that the Lieutenant Governor had made a similar offer, when seeking to convince the Chicago White Sox to relocate to northwestern Indiana.
