Mayor Hudnut participates in an event at Byrne Court Apartments at 1411 East Market St. in Indianapolis. Father James Byrne was the pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church across the street and the founder of the Near East Side Community Organization (NESCO), which led the revitalization of this neighborhood east of downtown.
